Sad to say Could be Loyalty's last few months..
This Saturday will be five years since I made the plunge and bought Loyalty Tattoo with 2 partners. The shop was a mess and it took a lot to keep it going.. Business was good, but the reputation of the old shop owner took over.. So we worked hard, painting, changing, painting more, hanging flash, printing shirts doing whatever it took to get it done. We hit road blocks, shit we hit semis broken...
The ONLY IMAGE a Tattooer should be worried about, is the image they are applying to the clients body. JUST SAYIN.

PRICE HAGGLING
This is by far one of my biggest pet peeves in our Craft today. Someone comes into the shop with a Cellphone Picture and asks the price.. The scenario is like this..
“hey man can I get a price on something?” ” I want it on my ribs and I want to add script to it…”
ME ” Cool man it will be $450” “SERIOUS???!! The shop around the corner said...
Why is this happening to tattooing?
I sit and I think about the good ol days when I went in for my first tattoos and the shop was filled with vatos and bikers and other dregs of society, I remember sitting there quietly with the design off the wall I knew I had to have.. I did not want add 14 names to it . I did not need a elaborate story to explain why I wanted the design.. I just wanted that tattoo. I am not saying that is wrong...
